I have qualified as a masseur with the London School of Sports Massage , and hold a BTEC (Level 5) Professional Diploma in Clinical Sport & Remedial Massage Therapy. I am also a full member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage.

I work with a local rugby club in Old Street and regularly come across different types of injuries. Like any sports persons, rugby players do not like staying off the pitch for too long, so it is always rewarding to know that I have helped accelerate their recovery and kept their time off training to a minimum.

When I don't massage, I put on my trainers and run along canals and parks, I dive in Hampstead Lido, or climb the Surrey hills on my bike. I regularly compete in marathons and ultras, long distance triathlons, open water swimming and of course, I always stretch for a long time, which I really believe has helped me ward off many injuries.

"I have visited Max three times for sports massages between September and December 2011. After each visit, I definitely felt an improvement to post-training tenderness, and the massage helped me recover promptly from intense training."
David Sharman (Runner), Serpentine, London

"Virtually unable to move following the Vitruvian half-ironman, Max' excellent sports massage had me running again the next day."
David Matthew (Triathlete), Serpentine, London

"I received a deep-tissue massage from Max whilst training for a recent marathon, and can honestly say that it was as good as - if not better - than any massage I've ever had before."
